In architecture and interior design, details are not always the first thing you notice. But very often, they are what ultimately define the experience of space.
A switch, a keypad, a finish or a small element integrated into the wall may seem like secondary features. However, when chosen with intention, they become part of the project’s language and help reinforce its aesthetic and functional coherence.
That is why being able to see them, touch them and compare them in person is essential.
On 7 May, Atelier Luxus opened its new showroom at Meet Design Center, located at Calle Claudio Coello 55, in Madrid’s Salamanca district. A new space designed to bring its handcrafted switches and mechanisms closer to architects, interior designers and industry professionals.
A space to experience detail up close
Atelier Luxus creates pieces where design, craftsmanship and personalisation take centre stage.
Its keypads and switches are not conceived merely as technical elements, but as pieces that become part of the overall design of a space. Proportion, touch, finish, colour and the way they integrate into the architecture are all decisions that directly influence the final result.
That is exactly what the new showroom offers: the opportunity to see the materials up close, understand the different configuration possibilities and explore how each finish can interact with different project styles.
Because seeing a piece in a catalogue is not the same as seeing it applied, touching its surface or comparing how a finish changes depending on the light and its surroundings.
Atelier Luxus in Spain
As Atelier Luxus’representative in Spain, at LuzÓptima we support architects, interior designers and studios in selecting switches, finishes and configurations tailored to each project.
Our role goes beyond presenting a product. We aim to understand the space, the project’s needs and the type of integration required in each case.
The showroom reinforces this way of working: close, technical and highly personalised.
A place where professionals can see real samples, ask questions and assess which solution best fits the architecture, materials and atmosphere of the space.
